Jonathan Carter – Captain
Jonathan also known as ‘Joph’ has had a lifetime’s experience of being on the water. Hailing from Bermuda and a family steeped in sailing. he has been around boats from a young age. His career has seen his rise from the competitive optimist sailor to ocean racer and has given him the ability to travel and cruise the world. He has captained boats for the past 5 years and joined Freya early on in the build stage. Surfing and windsurfing are his passions, but he also likes a game of cricket.
Georgie Morton – Chef
Georgie grew up sailing with her family in the UK, racing and cruising along the south coast. Georgie has traveled the world on a sail boat and enjoys the adventurous open seas. She has combined her love of boats with her gift of cooking. Georgie is a trained chef and creates unique and decadent dishes with local ingredients from each port she visits. When not cooking up her favorite dish, she can be found horseback riding, painting, paddle boarding or in the shops.
Benjamin Bennett – Deckhand
Ben grew up on a farm in New Zealand where his passion for adventure and the outdoors flourished at a young age. Being a surf and sailing instructor, Ben enjoys teaching children essential skills of numerous water sports. Before joining Freya, Ben worked and raced on numerous super yachts. Ben is a Swedish-speaking Kiwi who loves travel, adventure, rugby and having an all-around good time.
Therese Allstrin – Stew
Tess has always had a love for the ocean as she grew up surrounded by the Swedish archipelago in Stockholm. Tess enjoyed working on various super yachts as a stewardess before joining Freya. Tess is a certified yoga instructor and is an advanced open water scuba diver. Tess enjoys traveling, adventure, photography and was once a “Rollergirl” waitress and remains a skilled roller-skater.
